In English grammar are made with adjective and
adverb words to show ho big or small, high or
low, more or less, many or few, etc, of the
qualities, numbers and positions of the nouns
(person, things and place) in comparison to
others mentioned in the part of sentence.

Key points

 Don’t apply two rules for forming a comparative (e.g : more


prettier) or superlative (e.g : most best). That’s serious mistake
 Use the comparative degree (not the superlative) when
comparing just two things (e.g : of the two, she is the most
suitable candidate)*
* More suitable candidate would be correct
