 The recovered student profiles was incorrect allocated by using manual

methods.

Functions of the Proposed System

SEAIT GUIDANCE OFFICE PROFILLING SYSTEM (SGOPS) – is to offer

a detailed, reliable, and secured keeping of all college students data. The

development of guidance office system hoped to enhance the way of managing

and record keeping of all students’ confidential record. This will be a big help not

only to the student but also to the guidance office to attain its goal and objectives

by providing a quality service to the whole college students in particular guidance

office personnel. Provide them real time and update of student’s records. Student

keep their confidential record secured and safe.

Features of the Proposed System

Features include:

 Ability to use the system easily to identify the backgrounds of students of

SEAIT.

 To develop a system for a guidance office.

 To lessen the effort, each other must have this proposed system that

conduct profiling fast and easy on the entire guidance office.

 To reduce hard work of every profiling. This system has organized

functions that are understandable that helps them conduct a profiling

easily.

 The system will serve as a record keeper for the seait guidance office.

 Front end: PHP Language

 Back end: MySQL

2.0 Reason for the Choice

To develop and implement a South East Asian Institute of Technology Guidance

office profiling system in SEAIT campus.

The proposed project specifically aims the following:

 Provide the guidance office with an easy and reliable system for keeping

student’s record and assessing student’s behaviour.

 To prevents record to damage in different king of exposure.

 Keep all the confidential data of the student safe and secured.

 To keep the record on the smaller space.

3.0 Importance of the study

This study aims to develop and offer a detailed, reliable and secured keeping of

all college student’s data. The development of SEAIT guidance office profiling

system hoped to enhance the way of managing and record keeping of all student’s

confidential records. This will be a big help not only to the students but also to the

Guidance Office to attain its goal and objectives by providing a quality service to the

whole college students in particular.

Guidance Office Personnel

Provide them an easy and secured way of managing students’ profile. It

further gives them real time update of students’ record.

User

This study focuses to assist/ help the students identify their personal

records and will enjoy this system as their guide.

Researchers

Encouragement of other developers to help users as their basis of the

project.
