• The FWA DC PWB controls the WR Roll Motor, Lamps, and Fans
through the FWA Power PWB. FWA DC PWB
• When FWA operation begins, the lamps are illuminated. The
system waits for up to three minutes for the lamps to warm up
and provide consistent light.

Operation Overview
• The CCD array converts the RGB light to analog voltage signals
for each R, G, B color and sends them the FWA Device Controller
PWB.
• The FWA DC PWB converts the analog voltage signals to ten-bit
digital CMYK values.
• Depending on the application, the CMYK values are compared to
the acceptable range of values. If the values are outside the
range, corrections are calculated and sent to the IOT to adjust the
LUTs, ROS profile, or ROS Timing.

entire setup procedure must be run.
When Start Auto Setup is selected, the routine performs the
following:
• dC970 FWA Setup

For dC972, the press will print the target and confirmation
prints. The routine will wait for you to accept or reject the
changes.
The Auto Setup routine ends with dC972. You must run dC971
