A. Compare and contrast the nuances of varied online platforms, sites, and content.

II. Content
A. Topic: Introduction to Information and Communication Technology (CS_ICT11/12-ICTPT-Ia-b-1)
B. Reference: Empowerment Technologies Diwa Textbook page 3-10
C. Materials: Board, Chalk, laptop, screen cast presentation, etc.

III. Procedure
A. Motivation
What is ICT?
B. Activity
1.Group the students into 5. A leader and secretary will be assigned in each group. Each group will
be given pictures of different applications and they will identify any of it and write down things
they can do using it.
C. Analysis
1.How many times have you checked your phone after you woke up this morning?
2.How many status updates have you posted in Facebook or any social networking sites?
3.Did you use the internet for an hour or more after you woke up?
4.Do you follow any celebrity via social media?
D. Abstraction
1.Let the students share their outputs and then after that the teacher will collaborate their
answers and give inputs about defining the Information and Communication technology.
E. Application
1.How important is ICT in our everyday life today?
2.What if our technology today is same in the past?
F. Evaluation
1.What social media applications affect your day-to-day activities, and how did it improve your
daily life?
