You are required to submit a comprehensive research report on the following topic:
“What are the key drivers influencing the digital workplace transformation?”
You are planning on conducting a research project; however, formulating a good hypothesis under
such a topic seems harder than you think.
Gaining knowledge and skills on business research, gaining knowledge in the chosen topic, and
delivering a professional research report is not only challenging but it seems like an overwhelming task
for you. The only way to succeed at this challenge is managing the project in a professional manner.
Your self-evaluation is where you will review your own performance as a project manager. Your self-
evaluation should cover the following questions:
What was the project supposed to accomplish?
Did the project succeed in its aims? How do you know? Be specific here.
What do you think worked well, and why? Evaluate all aspects of the project (envisioning, planning,
execution, etc.) from a range of perspectives.
What problems emerged during the project and how were they tackled? Was there timely
identification of issues and resolutions during the project process?
What did you learn from undertaking this project?
How would you rate your performance as a project manager? What criteria would you use? How did
your performance measure against those criteria?
What strengths and weakness of your performance did you identify?
How will this inform and support your continuous professional development?
To embrace the digital evolution at the workplace and to facilate the change, you should be able to
answer several questions:
What is a digital workplace? Why adopt a digital workplace strategy?
What does digital workplace mean to your organisations?
What are the main internal/external drivers that affect the digital transformation in the workplace?
What are the key challenges for managers to make such a huge digital transformation?
How does the digital workplace support employees?
How companies build a business case and road map to deliver digital workplace vision and
strategy?
How companies manage cultural change, rollout and adoption?
How can companies manage risk of data loss and inappropriate risk?
3
How can companies make sure the information is appropriately managed and in compliance?
