a. Describe the performance of your device

My desktop PC can perform most of the required tasks like


schoolwork, editing and browsing. In gaming, my PC runs decent
FPS on selected games such as Valorant, Dota 2 and Genshin
Impact and I mostly play at Low Settings for higher
performance.

b. In your opinion, does the operating system affect the overall


performance of your device? Why or why not?

Yes, because my device is a bit latest and running old operating


systems will affect it. My OS, Windows 10 Pro is fit for gaming
and more stable than older versions because I run SSD’s and
GPU’s and newer hardware that Windows 10 just handles better.

c. Give (5) installed applications that greatly affect the processing


speed or performance of your device.

 AMD Radeon Software


 Google Chrome
 iCUE
 Valorant (Installed on C Drive)
 Windows Defender

d. In your perspective, is there a possible relationship between the


processor and the display quality of your device?

Yes, because your processor speed determines how much


information can be received at a time, and how quickly that
information can be processed on your computer. This could be
related to the frames per second of your display device, for
example 144 fps or higher for 144hz monitor.

e. Operating System, RAM, or Processor. Which would you upgrade


first?

For me, I would upgrade the Processor first because it is the


core of the computer which is the hardest to replace and remove
among the three. It is also the greatest factor in terms of
improving performance.

e. The iOS architecture is layered. It contains an intermediate layer


between the applications and the hardware, so they do not
communicate directly. The lower layers in iOS provide the basic
services and the higher layers provide the user interface and
sophisticated graphics.

f. The Apple IOS brings on unique and sophisticated features that


helps with better security, and usage. The Apple IOS is more
user friendly and has more reliable performance (crashes less).
The most unique thing about this Operating System for me is
that it functions more sophisticated than other systems.
