In today’s generation, we remember and honor Dr. Jose Protacio Mercado Rizal Alonzo y Realonda. As Filipinos, we are
proud of his literary artistry and his political convictions. Rizal and the socio-political issues of his era Like most educated

And more often, Rizal Challenge to the millennium is The “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan”, these were the words said
by the National Filipino Hero Jose Rizal. During his lifetime, he was devoted to the belief that what would make a country
prosper are its own children. His beliefs may have been caused by the great show of bravery and courage in the Filipino
youth of his time. He believed that the future will be better sooner or later. Children of the past have indeed grown up and
become great people in our country. As the years go by, a new generation of Filipinos has emerged. Sadly, with time comes
change. More and more Filipinos tend to do what is best for them rather than what is best for the whole country. Such is
the future for our country. Still, many Filipinos have their high hopes in the young Filipino people.

“ Ang kabataan ang pag asa ng Bayan.” He believes that the hopes of the nation is the Education of youths because
Education is very important to give us knowledge and knows our Rights . His way of writing and poems inspired and to rise
beyond aspiring youth to give importance the education and as a youth all I can take my part on Rizal’s challenge is to be
educated and give love to our nation.
