Lab 1

This document provides instructions for creating a virtual machine using VMware Workstation and installing Windows 10 as the guest operating system. It outlines downloading VMware Workstation from the VMware Academic Alliance using a Centennial College login and downloading the Windows 10 ISO from Azure for Education. It then walks through the steps to create a new virtual machine configured with 2GB RAM, a 60GB virtual disk, and mounting the Windows 10 ISO. The instructions conclude with booting the virtual machine and guiding it through the Windows 10 installation process, including selecting a keyboard, region, and logging in with a Centennial College ID. Learners are asked to take screenshots during the installation process and submit their completed lab.
