1. Project Description
Provide a summary of the conditions present on the project site and its
environs, based on information collated. Present map(s), figure(s), etc. that will show
the project site. Existing facilities, major roads, landmarks, residential area, etc.
should be included.
Discuss the alternatives considered for project location and process, and the
criteria used in determining the primary decision for the selection.
Discuss the process option considered and provide process flowchart. List
equipment and machinery, and the pollution control equipment to be used. Provide
material balance diagram. Tabulate the projected amount of resources (e.g., fuel,
electricity, water, etc.) to be utilized.
2. Scoping Methodology
Present a description of the scoping methodology. You may mention here published
guidelines used as reference when preparing the scoping report.
Include the current local (the project site), national and international policies and/or
regulations relevant to the environmental impacts of the proposed project.
