B. Technical Information
1. Rationale:

The HAPPY FARM is a farm practicing applicable agricultural technologies,


employing different farming strategies and operating successfully, thus, worthy of
emulation. Anchored on the agriculture value chain thus the farmer is advanced and
well experiences compared to the rest of the farmers. This Learning Site for Agriculture
conceived as a response to the call of the Government to enhance the Agricultural
production of the Nation. As the SONA of President Duterte of 2019 goes: Rice farmers-
Duterte vows that his administration will implement the rice tariffication law. He calls
that there is a need “to address the urgent need to improve availability of rice in the
country, to prevent artificial rice shortage, reduce the prices of rice in the market, and
curtail the prevalence of corruption and cartel domination in the rice industry.”

2. Objectives:

To provide quality training that is geared towards the modernization practices in


farming.
To serve as model or an example to showcase applicable agriculture
technologies and agri-products:

Specifically, it shall serve as:

 practicum area to complement classroom learning;


 venue for practical and hands-on learning for immediate use;
 visit area for other farmers, other rural community members,
ATI's training participants and others interested in agriculture
and
 On-the-job training (OJT) site for ATI's scholarship program
grantees, its other Youth Program under the 4-H Club, and
interested agriculture students and individuals.

4. Expected Outputs:
The happy Farms aims to well educate the local farmers in using modern technology
in farming and to increase their production and raise agricultural crops.

5. Beneficiary
The Happy Farm Learning Site of Agricultures beneficiary are those farmers new
generations or families who are new in farming that does not have little bit
knowledge. As you can see a lot of people choose to works in other fields as they
are so disappointed sometimes in their harvest. So to continue to have our farmers
farm their land and be happy with the output, it is very important to teach ,support
and assist them the proper way. Benefit of this project also help boost our local
econmic, since we support our farmers through this project , our production will
increase and so the value. This learning sites will serve as an area for those students
who are employed for their OJT , farmers and student who want additional and new
learning regarding agriculture.
