1. Introduction
The ASUS Diagnostic Tool is a tool developed by GRTD with the objective to
simplify the testing procedure in front-end and back-end while increasing the
test coverage and accuracy at the same time.
You will be able to use the tool on ASUS notebooks to perform a more
comprehensive diagnosis on each key part hardware to find out accurately
which component is causing problems. ASUS Diagnostic Tool can rapidly
provide test results, which you can use as a base reference to do further repair.
The objective of the tool is to reduce the pre-test time and at the same time
increase the accuracy of the repair to increase our customer satisfaction.
ASUS Diagnostic Tool is a testing tool based on Linux OS, which is built on an
external USB flash drive. By running on Linux OS it can avoid any user software
or Windows related issues, resulting on a more accurate hardware test. By
running on an external USB flash drive it can perform a complete storage device
test without any limitations.
Lastly, ASUS Diagnostic Tool provides a simple and fast way to upload the key
part test results to the Lean eService database. With this information, repair
quality and the implement rate of the tool can be monitored.
