OBJECTIVE:
To make students to reach higher order abilities in Engineering Graphics(K4&K5) and to promote
experiential learning.
To identify advanced learners with self propulsive attitude and encourage them to participate
technical National /International level events and competitions.
Choose any one object for which the orthographic views(2D) are illustrated in Engineering Graphics text
book prescribed in our syllabus ,interpret the dimensions given in the views and make a physical 3D
model with the available materials such as cardboard, paper, and wood.

4. A regular hexagonal lamina of 35mm side is resting on HP on one of it’s sides with it’s surface 45 0 incline
it’s projections when the side in HP makes 300 angle with VP.
[20]
5. A square pyramid of base 30 mm and height 60mm with one of its triangular face on HP.The axis of the pyr
to VP.Draw its projections.

6. A right circular cylinder of base diameter 30 mm and axis height 60 mm has one of the circumference poin
HP, such that its axis is inclined at 30o to the HP. Draw its projections.
[20]
7. A hexagonal prism with base side 30mm and axis 60mm is resting on HP with two of its vertical faces para
cut by a section plane perpendicular to VP and inclined 35 0 to HP and meets the axis at a distance of 35 mm
.Draw the development of the lateral surface of the pyramid.

8. A cylinder of diameter 35 mm and height 65 mm is resting on the ground on its flat end. It is cut by a
inclined at 35 degrees to the axis of the cylinder and passing through a point on the axis at height of 35 mm
Draw the sectional top view .Draw also the true shape.
[20]
9. Draw the isometric view of a hexagonal pyramid of base side 35 mm and height 65 mm rests on its base on
edge parallel to VP.It is cut by a plane perpendicular to VP ,inclined at 30 0 to HP and meeting the axis at 3
base.
