God reveals divine love or "kagandahang-loob" to humans through "pagpapadama", a Filipino communication style of expressing feelings intuitively. Pagpapadama is significant in Filipino culture as it conveys messages in a feeling-based manner important to Filipinos. God uses pagpapadama to demonstrate his love for humans, initiating relationships through affecting humans on cognitive and feeling levels, with possible effects like attraction or conviction.

In Module 4: The Foundation of Faith: Pagpapadama ng Diyos ng Kanyang Kagandahang - loob

as Revelation, I have realized that we can talk about God's initiative in terms that are more in
line with Filipino thinking. God's pagpapadama of divine kagandahang – loob or agape – is what
we'll call it. Our relationship with the GodSelf begins with the kagandahang - loob of God.

When we inquire about how God demonstrates His love for us, we turn to a typical method of
communication used by Filipinos: pagpapadama, or having someone feel what one wishes to
say. Pagpapadama is a significant characteristic of our Filipino communication patterns as well
as an indicator of how important feelings are to us. What we want to communicate to another
person must be done in a feeling-based manner.
Pagpapadama is expressing himself in an intuitively affective – cognitive manner. The
occurrence of "having felt" (nadama) denotes that whatever is communicated has an effect,
which could include talab anda.
