Practice test 3:

Task 1:

The flow chart shows ‘trampling’, the negative effect of tourists walking in the countryside
for the environment. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main
features.

In the chart below is represented the impact on the relief of the stepping on the
earth in the countryside by the people who visited that places.
After the long time walking on the ground the flora is affected negatively, as a result
the base of the plants become without forces, also the vegetables cannot replicate
themselves. Moreover the ground became more solid, after this the air and precipitates
after the rain don’t have the possibility to go underground, it’s also a reason for the
reproduction problems of the vegetables. Nevertheless the decrease of liquid and air in the
soil provoke the increasing of the cracks on the ground. As a consequence the density of the
plants is reduced, it also has the causes the weakness of tulles and growing deficit. All this
led to reduce the grade of the soil and flora.

Task 2:

Some young people look forward to a year of travelling, a ‘gap year’, before they begin work
or university and see it as a chance to broaden their horizons. For others this is an expensive
waste of time. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Nowadays, the high-school graduates can take a break for one year for different
reasons, and another prefer directly after finishing the lyceum to go to work or start the
learning in the university. I personally would like to go after the 12 th grade to university to
continue improving my knowledge.
However, some people fell the necessity to have a pause for a certain period of time,
for someone it’s for preparations for the entering test but for another it’s for earning the
money, there is a big variety of possible occupations, it totally depends on what king of
plans this person have for his own feature, for the example is Malia Obama the Obama’s
elder daughter took a gab year before the attending to the university because she
wanted to start studying for a high degree with less visibility and pressure from the
American public.
On the another side are the people who decided to instantly continue their
studies or to apply for a job, the young who are sure about their future plans and have a
certain path which they want to follow. It can have as a reason the fact that they are
pressured by their parents, not having the opportunity to take one year for their
necessities without earning money from someone. Such as my brother who in the same
time my mother was insisting on going to USMF and he who really wanted to continue
without any pauses.
I decided to end up with the fact that I choice to go to university without a free
year, because I don’t want to waste one of my year on things that are not important for
my evolution as a human but directly to begin the studyings on a another level.
