Each theory has different ways on how we achieve the trust of the child. The Piaget's theory of cognitive
development helped add to our understanding of children's intellectual growth. The Freud's theory also
stressed the importance of early experiences in development. The Erikson's Theory is important to
remember that the psychosocial stages are just one theory of how personality develops. The theory can be
a helpful way to think about some of the different conflicts and challenges that infant may encounter to
his life. While the Kohlberg's theory of moral development has been criticized, the theory played an
important role in the emergence of the field of moral psychology. Understanding these stages offers
helpful insights into the ways that both children and adults make moral choices and how moral thinking
may influence decisions and behaviors.

Each theory has a different approach for obtaining the child's trust. The cognitive development theory
contributed to our knowledge of children's intellectual development. The importance of early experiences
in development was also emphasized in psychosexual theory. It is also important to remember that
Psychosocial theory has various conflicts and problems that a newborn might face during his life. While
moral development theory has been criticized, it was instrumental in the development of the field of
moral psychology.
So, by understanding these theories, it can help us comprehend on how children and adults make moral
decisions, as well as how moral thought can influence decisions and behaviors.
