A Job Interview

TASK: A job interview

EXPECTED LEARNING: The student will be able to have an interview for a part-time job.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK: In pairs, the students will role-play an interview for a part-time job.
During the evaluation session, the teacher will decide what role each student will represent. It is
important to emphasize that previously, with anticipation, the teacher will provide a job
advertisement related to the career students are studying in order to prepare the answer they will
give during the interview.

The role-play will follow, as an example, the conversation of activity 2 and the plan of the
speaking activity on page 11.
