2 What are the day-to-day activities of a fresher in Capgemini?
You can expect to work on a variety of hands-on projects, enjoy
real responsibility, and make a concrete contribution from day one.
Every day will be a learning experience that challenges your
problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills -
all of which are essential for future gainful employment.
3 What does Capgemini look for in a fresher?

4 How will the hiring process be conducted this year?
We will be conducting the end-to-end hiring activities of
assessments and interviews in a virtual manner where the
candidates can attend our processes from wherever they are.
For ease of use, candidates can access all our processes
through laptops as well as mobile phones.
5 What is the selection process?
The selection process for hiring programs is as follows:

6 What is the assessment pattern?

Assessment pattern may vary as per the hiring program. We will


share a detailed version of the same with your College Training
Placement Committee before the hiring process.
7 What kind of questions to expect during technical
interviews?
Interview questions will be related to the course syllabus,
technologies learned, and projects executed by the candidate.
8 When will I get the results of the campus drive?
During on-campus drives, the results will be shared with the
College Training and Placement Committee within two weeks
post the final interview process.
9 When will I get my joining details?
If selected, we will share your offer letter and joining details in a
phased manner. Candidates usually receive these details post their
graduation/post-graduation degree completion, pre-onboarding
training completion, and upon business requirement.
10 What will be my work location?
Capgemini has its presence in major cities in India. You may
have to work in any of these locations as the allocation of work
location solely depends upon the business requirements and
project allocation.
11 Will Capgemini provide accommodation?
Capgemini has tie-ups with third-party vendors like Nestaway,
Stanza, etc. to enable and assist employees in their search for
suitable accommodation facilities. Also, some locations have
guesthouse facilities that are allocated basis availability, and the
cost of the same will have to be borne by the individual employee.
We will share the details of the same with new joiners during the
joining process.
12 Will Capgemini provide training before or after joining?
Capgemini has different tracks of pre-joining training for different
sets of hiring programs and applicability, which are:
- ADAPT (Accelerated Digital Aid for Pre-onboarding Talent) is our
flagship pre-joining learning program. This program prepares the
foundation for the fast-paced classroom training imparted upon joining.
- Training programs that are conducted in the colleges during the last
semester for a select group of people.
- Internships in the final semester to gain hands-on experience in the
projects.
Post joining, all candidates undergo 2-3 months of in-house training
on various technologies.

13 Does Capgemini provide certifications in addition to my


current skill set?
Yes, Capgemini has a dedicated Learning & Development platform
for employees’ skill development.
- Capgemini has an exhaustive collection of 11,000+ E-books in a
virtual library.
- Capgemini has recently introduced Next, a new learning hub
and a one-stop-shop to address all development needs of our
employees, including free subscription through various learning
programs from renowned partners and academic institutions
such as Coursera, Harvard MentorManage, Pluralsight, etc.
14 Will I be required to work in night shifts?
If yes, are there any additional allowances for the same?
You might have to work in night shifts as per your project
requirements. We provide additional allowances for the same
as per the company policy.

15 What are the safety measures provided to employees


during night shifts?
We provide pick-up and drop facility to all our employees working
night shifts. Additionally, the Transport Desk arranges escort guards
for female colleagues availing cabs between silent hours, if they are
the first scheduled pick-up or last drop. In case a female colleague
does not use company transport during the night hours, she must
sign the declaration/indemnity form at the security desk before
leaving the office premises. Female colleagues also get a call/SMS
from the Transport Desk/Security team to confirm their safe
commute and arrival.
