Weekly Progress Report No 19 Revised

This weekly progress report summarizes work done on the Gabon Road Project from May 30th to June 5th, 2021. Survey work was completed from PK50 to PK75. Geotechnical investigation was 100% completed for PK50 to PK75. Mobilization was 40% complete. Main carriageway activity started from PK50 to 62. Hot mix and crusher plants were being erected. Training was conducted for school children and safety meetings were ongoing. Looking ahead, more manpower and equipment will be mobilized over the next 4 weeks to continue earthworks, paving and construction. Support is requested regarding permissions, payments, visas and land acquisition to help maximize efficiency of operations.

Laissez passer. However, these passes couldn’t be used as vehicles and drivers still
pending as we are able to operate at 50% efficiency.

 Intervention in expediting VISA process for expats.
 Facilitation for royalty exemption for the earth, laterite and sand being project of national
importance as per taxation rules of Gabon and precedence of earlier projects executed
in Gabon.
 Expediting land handing over for construction operation at site.
 Requesting for partial drawing clearance for starting physical works at site.
