Week 30- Work Period 2


1:30-2:30 (50 minutes)

I. Objectives: Within the allotted time, learners are expectedto:


a. identify numeral 10
b. recognize the concept of numeral 10
b.participate in the class discussion
c. color the sets that has 10 objects
d.write numeral 10

II. Subject Matter: Concept of Numeral 10

Materials: Pictures, worksheets/activity sheets,laptop,projector

III.Procedure
A. Preparatory Activities

1. Review

Direction: Identify the numeral shown on the boxes..

2. New Lesson
a. Motivation
Now class, I have here 3 basket..
I will divide the class into 3. Each basket
has an object inside. All you have to do
is to find out what is inside the box.

Am I understood class?

Group 1 Group 2 Group 3

For group 1, what is inside in your basket? Toothbrushes, teacher!


How many toothbrushes are there? 10, teacher!

For group 2, what is inside in your basket? Nail cutter, teacher


How many nail cutters are there? 10, teacher!

How about group 3, what is inside in your basket? Cotton buds, teacher!
How many cotton buds? 10, teacher!
(Integration-Science)
Where did we use these tootbrushes, nailcutter
and cotton buds? To clean our teeth,ears and
nails,teacher!
Why we need to clean our teeth,ears and nails? So that we are clean, and
pleasant to others.

This morning we are going to recognize the concept of numeral 6.

Let us count numeral 10 using our fingers. (Let the pupils count numeral 10
using their fingers)

Class I will teach you the proper way of writing numeral 10.
Look at how I write it on the board by using the lines. 10 (standing line, make a circle)

b. Guided practice
Now, I will give you another set of objects. You are going to count
the objects and write the numeral 10 below the box.
