Development of The Learners at Various Stages

The document discusses stages of child development from pre-natal to toddler stages. It covers key theories from Erikson on the eight stages of personality development and Piaget on sensorimotor development in infants. While chronological age determines a child's age in years, it is not a good predictor of learning ability as children progress through developmental stages at different rates depending on various environmental and biological factors beyond their age. Parents must consider nutrition, parenting behaviors, social environment, and more to understand a child's stage of development.

 During the sensorimotor stage that children go through a period of dramatic growth
and learning. As kids interact with their environment, they are continually making
new discoveries about how the world works.
6. What are Three (3) stages of dependence growing up?
 The 3 stages of dependence growing up are (1)Pre-Natal period where mother is
providing foods or nutrients and oxygen through umbilical cord.(2) Infancy Stage 0-1
year old, they are totally or completely dependent to their needs. And lastly (3) is the
Childhood stage, though children gain some independence in this age still they still
rely in their immediate family of their needs.
