Reflective Writing (20%) – Developing growth mindset

A: Objective
This assignment is intended to develop student’s ability to articulate, examine and apply theories of
learning and motivation to real life situations.

B: Instruction

1. Students are required to actively engage, support each other, and be civil in their exchanges in class.
Students will be rewarded 1 mark/class for every class participation.

2. Students will also be given weekly task for tutorials. Each successful completion of task(s) will be
rewarded 1 mark/class.

PROJECT (20%) – Learning and Motivation Strategy:

A: Objective
This assignment aims to develop student’s ability to reflect, evaluate and synthesis learned knowledge
and propose new strategies in learning and motivation domain. This assignment also strives to develop
presentation skills and teamwork skills.

B: Instruction

1. Students are required to propose effective strategies that will ` students to be well-prepared for
their examination.

2. You may develop your own strategies according to your creativity, however, you will need to
contextualize your proposal(s) in the area of psychology. There should be at least FIVE psychological
theory/concepts used.

3. Write a detailed proposal according to the guidelines given and present your strategy to the class.
