Name: Regine Dandan Grade/Section: G-11 What I Know

This document contains a student's work on functions, including what they know about various functions and test answers, examples of linear functions with tables of values and graphs, observations about the domains and ranges of the functions, and a discussion of inverse functions and how experience with fractions and radicals relates to determining domains and ranges of inverse functions. The student also reflects on not wanting to reverse anything in their life, believing that all experiences help a person grow.

1.What can you say about the two given functions?
They are all linear functions. In the two given functions, I can say that there's a step by step way
to determine and solve the following functions that is given. It is easy to do the solving if you can
understand the said situations. There's a pattern on it, that's why its easy to understand and
solve the following functions that is given.

2. Based from the table of values, describe the domain and range of the first function with
respect to the domain and range of the other function.
Domain and Range are both set of all real numbers. The domain of a graph consists of all the
input values shown on the x-axis because the domain refers to the set of possible input values.
The range is the set of possible output values depicted on the y-axis.

3. What can you say about the graphs of the two functions?
They are all have a linear graph. About the graphs of the two functions, I can say that they are
not the same. The other functions looks like a diagonal line while the other one looks like a
zigzag. The other one is wider than the other functions. Just like what I've said, there's a
similarities and difference of the functios that is given when it comes to the graphs of the two
functions that is present out there.

4. Drawing a diagonal line (y=x), what can you say about the graphs with respect to line y=x?

The graphs with respect to line y=x, I can say that there's a one on one functions that deals to
the specific matter. That explains or determine the way it is. This is shown the answer of each
functions that we acknowledge to solve to find its answer.

5. Can you give any other observation/s?

My observations was, there's an opposite to each other that is shown in the graph that we did in
every functions we have already solved and answered. This will make you insane once you
didn’t know on how to identify its steps.

What I Have Learned

Think It Over And Complete Me!
A. Complete The Paragraph
Remember that an inverse function is a linear function.
Whereas, the domain of the inverse function is the range of the one-toone function and the
range of the inverse function is the domain of the
one-to-one function.
To find the domain and range of an inverse function, go back to the
Original function and then interchange the domain and range of the
original function.
B. How is the skill in operating fractions and radicals relevant in determining
the domain and range of the inverse function? Explain.
It is relevant in determining the domain and range of the inverse function because sometimes a
function have a fraction and radical which is needed to operated. Radicals and operating
fractions are common in inverse function because the inverse of a squared term is a radical,
vice versa. One must know the rules on radicals and fractions for them to determine the domain
and range of the inverse function correctly

C. You have understood that inverse function is a function that reverses another
function. In life, if it so happens that you have done some mistakes, you can
only correct it and not reverse it. But if you would be given a chance to reverse
one thing in your life, what would it be and why?

If I would be given a chance to reverse one thing in my life. I will never do that. Why? Because
I’m contented on what God has given unto us. I would definitely cherish every certain matter
that I’m facing through. Yes! We do experienced so much problems, circumstances, trials and
challenges that made a meaning to us, that made us uncertainty and deals so much dilemmas,
but because of this kind of things that we encountered it made what we are today, we became a
better version of ourselves, and it made us tougher and strong enough to deal the next journey
we are dealing to. I believe that, every single matter has a reasons to be uphold.
