SCI SPELLING

BEE-Individual
(Grades 4-6pupils)

Participants
1. Eligible to compete are Grades 4, 5 or 6 from any public or
private schools.
2. Only 1 (one) contestant per school is allowed.

Registration
1. The official coach of the contestant shall be responsible for
the registration.
2. Registration fee is Php. 20.

Technical Requirements
1. As the competition will be held online, contestants are
required to prepare the requirement to participate in the
competition as follows:
 Zoom account
 A desktop or laptop or tablet with a camera with an
installed Zoom app
 Reliable internet connection
 Headphones, earphones or headsets

Mechanics

1. The quiz master will read the words twice, and use it in a
sentence.
2. Pupils will be given fifteen (15) seconds to write the answer
in their illustration/ show-me board.
3. There will be no breaking the tie, instead if there are more
than one contestant who got the same highest score, they
will be declared as First Place. The same with Second
Place, Third Place, Fourth Place, and Fifth Place.

Winners

The top five (5) winners together with their coaches will be
awarded certificate of recognition.
