We use the present simple tense for things that
we do regularly and for facts, habits, truths and
permanent situations.

Example:

I check my email every day. (regular activity)

In the affirmative sentences of the present simple to all the verbs an -s
is added at the end.

1.1. When verbs end in -o, -sh, 1.2. For verbs ending in -y, you 1.3. For verbs ending in -y. When
-ch, -ss, -x and -z you must must replace -y with i and then there is a vowel before the -y, you

To use the present simple with the modal verbs (can, must, may), you
must bear in mind that there are two exceptions:
