Research Design

Research design constitutes the blueprint or the roadmap for the collection,

measurement, and analysis of data. According to Kothari (2004), research design is a plan,

a roadmap and blueprint strategy of investigation conceived so as to obtain answers to

research questions (Kothari, 2004), it is the heart of any study.

This study focuses on the learning styles of the 4th year accountancy students of

Philippine School of Business Administration-Quezon City. This research approach is

quantitative that focuses on the descriptive study.

Saunders et al (2003) defines the descriptive survey method as one which looks with

intense accuracy at the phenomena of the moment and then describes precisely what the

researches sees. Descriptive research design is concerned with describing characteristics of

a problem. Questionnaires and interviews are the methods used to elicit information in

descriptive research.
