Animation involves bringing drawings to life through multiple still images to create the illusion of movement. While animation is popular in other countries like Japan, it is an unexpected subject for many students in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program in the Philippines. This study aims to determine if students' passion for animation affects their grades. It finds that passion leads to better performance and prevents students from dropping courses they are not interested in. The results could help future ICT-Animation students choose a field they are passionate about and avoid wasting time and money.
