4. 9 monggo seeds grouped equally into 3 cups means
there were 3 seeds in each cup
5. Create other possible equations, example:
6. If there were 2 spoonfuls of soil in 3 cups, how many
spoonfuls would there be?
7. If there were 6 monggo seeds instead of 9, how
many seeds would be in each cup?

 Activity: Soil and Pot Relay
Procedure:
1. Divide the class into two groups. They will form two
lines.
2. Place the soil in front of the first player and give
him/her the shovel.
3. Place the pot on a chair several feet away from the
learners’ lines.
4. The first player scoops soil from the bag, walks to
the pot, and dumps the soil in.
5. S/He then runs back to the line and pass the shovel
to the next player.
6. First group to fill the pot with soil wins.
