Here is a list of most popular political parties of Pakistan with


their flags, election symbols and flags. Brief history, as well as
leaders and founders, is also given of these parties; PML-N,
PTI,  PPP, PML-Q, Jamaat-e-Islami, MQM, APML, ANP, JUI-F
and TTP. 

PML(N)

Pakistan Muslim League (N) is founded in 1988. Mian


Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is the President and Raja Zafar ul
Haq is the Chairman of PML-N.   Nawaz Sharif elected as
Prime Minister of Pakistan two times. "Lion or Tiger" is its election symbol and "Justice, Peace
and Prosperity" is its slogan.

PTI

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is founded by former cricketer Imran Khan in 1996. Imran Khan is
also Chairman of PTI while Javaid Hashmi (Ex-Leader of PML-N) is the President of the Party.

"Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem" is the slogan of PTI. "Cricket Bat" is the election symbol
of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

PPPP

Pakistan Peoples Party is founded in 1967 by Zulfiqar Ali


Bhutto. Now Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is Patron-in-Chief while
Makhdoom Amin Fahim is President of Pakistan Peoples
Party Parliamentarian. Benazir was Ex-Chairperson of
Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian and she became
PPPP Flag
PM for two times. President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari also
belongs to this party.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is also registered on the name of Bilawal Bhutto and got Sword
as Election Symbol.
"Arrow" is the election symbol of PPP-P.

PML(Q)

Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) is founded in 2002 by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.


This party was created by the group of politicians who were previously members of PML-N.

"Live, Let Live...... Giving hope to the hopeless" is its slogan and Bicycle is its election symbol.

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan

Jamaat-e-Islami is advocating for an Islamic and Democratic form of government in Pakistan.


Syed Abul A'la Maududi founded this party in 1941 before partition. After independence, JI is
moved to Pakistan. Syed Munawar Hassan is Ameer (Leader) and Liaqat Baloch is General
Secretary. The scale is election symbol of Jamaat-e-Islami of Pakistan.

MQM

Muttahida Qaumi Movement has a strong position in Karachi and Hyderabad. It was founded
in 1984. Altaf Hussain is its Founder and Leader while Dr. Farooq Sattar is Deputy Convenor
of the party. Their slogan is "Empowerment for all". "Kite" is the election symbol of MQM.

APML

All Pakistan Muslim League is founded in 2010  by Ex-President of Pakistan General Pervez
Musharraf but registered with Election Commission of Pakistan under the name of   Major
General (R) Rashid Qureshi and Barrister Saif Ali Khan. "Sb sy pehlay Pakistan" is the slogan
of APML. APML got "Eagle" as election symbol.

ANP

Awami National Party was founded in 1986 by Khan Abdul Wali Khan. Abdul Wali Khan is the
son of Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Bacha Khan) who was not in the favor of the creation of Pakistan.
Currently, Asfand Yar Wali Khan is President of the party. It is popular in KPK and other
Pashtun areas of Pakistan. "Lantern" is the election symbol of ANP.

Maulana Fazal ur Rehman is the leader of JUI-F. Book is the election symbol of Jamiat Ulema-
e-Islam (F).

TTP

Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan is founded by Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan in 2012.


The missile is allocated to Tehrik-e-Tahafuz Pakistan as election symbol.
