1. Based on the case of the man having his Down Syndrome, explain the intelligence that he has. (10
points)
For my own opinion the man having his Down Syndrome on the video shows Practical Intelligence
wherein He is concerned with how you react to your surroundings and your ability to adapt or change
them to meet your needs. Practical intelligence is characterized by street smarts and common sense.
Like, in the video He didn’t get angry easily to the man who is very grumpy and showing bad attitude yet
the boy who has Down Syndrome still respect him. This shows that Practical means that you apply
knowledge based on your experiences to find solutions that work in your daily life.
It shows the ability to deal with day-to-day tasks in the real world is referred to as practical intelligence.
The ability to learn is a key part of practical intelligence. It is not enough to have experiences to develop
knowledge; it is also necessary to extract crucial information from them that can be applied in other
situations.
2. Explain further the quote: Do not judge the book by its cover. Share your personal experience about
this. (10 points)
“Do not judge the book by its cover” this quote for me is that the worth or value of something should
not be determined solely by its appearance. Like for example one of my co- models here in Baguio said
that I am very small for modelling and not talented individual I may appear small and inconsequential
for them but I am highly strong woman in the group of modelling here in Baguio under Likha Models. I
also show them that I am talented that I can sing I can dance and I can act they don’t know that I am
from Baguio City National High School (BCNHS) under Special Performing in the Arts (SPA). The lesson
here is that we should not judge people on how they look or how tall they are because you will be
shocked that the person you judge so easily is very much more talented and intelligent than you .
3. If you were the seatmate of the man, what should you have done in this situation? (10 points)
If I were the seatmate of the man who has Down Syndrome, I will respect him and also, I am going to
listen to his stories why? It is because I know that people who has Down Syndrome has a lot more
experiences in life wherein by his advices, I can learn more about his experiences that I can apply on my
daily life.
The man who is very rude on the man who has down syndrome I will suggest to the head of the airplane
to let that man get off the plane it is because all people should be respected even though you’re a
person who is very rich or has a higher position you do not have the right to be rude on people.
Lets not normalize being rude to people let’s be respectful to all the people we encounter anywhere.
