Youth Entrepreneurship Program

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program was launched by the Youth Development Affairs Office of Laguna in coordination with other organizations to provide a series of webinars on starting a business and coping with the pandemic. The program consisted of 4 sessions that taught participants how to start online selling, identify business opportunities, and manage social media accounts. Over 150 youths from Laguna municipalities participated in the program and received startup packages upon completion from the Laguna Governor and partner organizations. The goal was to engage Laguna's youth in entrepreneurship to address economic challenges.

Youth Entrepreneurship Program

Youth Development Affairs Office of Laguna launched the Youth Entrepreneurship


Program in coordination with DTI Laguna, Sangguniang Kabataan of Laguna,
Association of Local Youth Development Officers and Special Livelihood Office held on
October 17, 2020 to November 28, 2020 via zoom.

This is a series of webinars on How to start a Business, online selling, business


opportunities and how businesses cope up with Pandemic.

The participants from the different Municipalities and Cities of Laguna who have finished
the 4 sessions of Youth Entrepreneurship Program training were given their start up
Negosyo Package awarded by our Laguna Governor Hon. Ramil L. Hernandez, DTI-
Laguna representative Mr. Arnel Magpily and Special Livelihood Office representative
Ms. Jemelie Villarina.
The Provincial Government of Laguna, Youth Development Affairs Office in cooperation
with the Department of Trade and Industry, Special Livelihood Office, Sangguniang
Kabataan, and Association of Local Youth Development Officers of Laguna launches
the Youth Entrepreneurship Program which aims to engage the Youth of Laguna in
entrepreneurship activities to help them cope up with the problem of massive economic
recession.
2ND SESSION OF YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM 2020
The Youth Development Affairs Office of Laguna in cooperation with DTI Laguna, SLO,
SK Federation, and AYDOL successfully conducted its 2nd session of YEP entitled
"Business Opportunities in the midst of pandemic" which was discussed by our guest
speaker from Cabuyao City and owner of Spoonful Delights, Mr. John Lloyd Quiaonza.
The 3rd session of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program was successfully conducted
earlier today, attended by a total of 82 youth participants, Local Youth Development
Officers and council members from different municipalities and cities in our province.
Today's topic was all about Managing Institutional Online/Social Media accounts
discussed by the founding chairman of Young Entrepreneurs' Society of Cabuyao City
and CEO of John's Gourmet Kitchen, Mr. John Lloyd Quiaonza.
The 4th Session of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program was successfully conducted
earlier today, attended by a total of 60 youth participants, Local Youth Development
Officers and council members from different municipalities and cities in our province.
Today's topic was all about Managing Institutional Online/Social Media discussed by the
Assistant Professor DDBT, UPLB, College of Development Communication Mr. Mark
Lester M. Chico.
