catching men. When they had brought their boats to land, they left
everything and followed Him.” (Matthew 5:10-11)
 Jesus had called the disciples to share in the mission of
evangelization. This happened despite of the doubts and
hesitation of the disciples. They learned to trust Jesus and
commit everything to the eternal plan of the Father.

 “Evidently, as human beings, we must understand that to


know Jesus means being committed in following Him, being
His disciple. To see Christ more clearly involves, “loving Him
more dearly and following Him more nearly.” (CFC, 473).

 The life of man focuses on knowing and loving God.

 “…All Christ’s faithful are called to hand it on from generation


to generation, by professing the faith, by living it in fraternal
sharing, and by celebrating it in liturgy and prayer.” (CCC #3)

The teacher discusses the concept of discipleship and


apostleship on pages 2-6 using a PowerPoint presentation.
