NARRATIVE REPORT ON MODULAR INSTRUCTION UNDER NEW NORMAL

S.Y. 2020 – 2021

Education, even during the current pandemic the world is facing, never stops. Instead,

educators and parents alike thought of flexible ways to ensure that learning in the current

situation will continue.

One of the said ways is giving children time to read, guided by their parent or guardian.

This program is called “Nanay ko, Guro ko”, wherein parents or the guardian of the student

would be asked to give some of their time to conduct reading practice at home so to sharpen their

skills in the said subject.

To read is to learn. Helping students to improve their vocabulary by reading and

understanding would very much help them as they grow older. Practice is truly a big part of

learning and education and practicing at home would most definitely prove itself to be useful

when time would require it.
