The plot revolves around the assassination of a samurai, whose body is discovered in a bamboo
grove. It also explores the search for one's true identity and how people can manipulate or
twist the truth. A woodcutter discovers a man's body in the woods at the start of the story.
Following further investigation, three different accounts emerged: one from Masago, the
samural's wife, another from Tajomaru, a notorious criminal, and the third from a spirit
medium channeling Takehiro's spirit. It is difficult to identify the true samurai killer from these
various accounts because each has its own version of events.
We can't resist that there are instances in our lives when we distort or misrepresent what
actually occurred because we are terrified of the consequences. We frequently lie and twist the
truth because we believe it is safer for us to do so. I admit that I was a wicked kid; there were
moments when I twisted situations, when I didn't speak the truth, and when I had so many
alibis because I was frightened of being punished. But, at the end of the day, I know that what I
did was wrong, that it aggravated the issue, and that lying about the reality will not help to
address the situation.
There have been several allegations that some persons in health authorities are attempting to
manipulate the situation when the virus strikes. Patients claim that certain doctors give them a
large sum of money in exchange for being accepted as a covid-patient. As a result, the number
of cases of covid-19 in our nation continues to rise, with many people blaming the
government's delayed reaction to the pandemic. However, the government has taken the brunt
of the criticism, but aren't we also to blame? Individuals in our environment are excellent
manipulators; they can control the issue and lead others to feel that it is becoming worse.
It depends on the environment that we are in, but telling the truth might be tough at times.
But, no matter how hard the case is, we must always remember that stating the truth and
revealing what truly happened is always the correct thing to do. After all of my faults, after all
of my lying and twisting the truth, I recognized that I was just complicating things, and that no
matter how hard I tried to hide the truth, God would always see my wrongdoings. As a result,
I've decided not to keep quiet and attempt to manipulate the situation because I've already
learned from my mistakes.
Living in this world that has full of uncertainty is not easy. We had no way of knowing who was
lying and who was telling the truth. And if we ever find ourselves in a circumstance where we
are unsure about revealing the truth, we should cast those misgivings aside and do what is
right, even if it means losing someone or something we care about. The people in our lives are
entitled to the truth, and they are entitled to know the truth. We are genuine to ourselves and
to the people around us if we are real to ourselves. Truth will always come out in the end, and
when it does, it will be too late for us to reclaim what we have squandered.
