• Malaysia is divided into two geographical areas, Peninsular Malaysia, and East Malaysia, with a
total size of 329,847 square kilometers.
• Malaysia is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious Southeast Asian country that is also one of the
world's wealthiest and most industrialized countries.
• Malaysia is a relatively prosperous country with a large consumer base with greater
discretionary income.
• Malaysians like to buy from superstores, which is beneficial to us because we don't want to lose
our tea's premium image in the market, therefore we exclusively sell through major retail chains
and our websites.
Political Situations:
• Political considerations refer to government laws and regulations that have a favorable or
negative impact on company operations.
• Political considerations have an impact on company operations, and they are an external
element. Current and upcoming legislation, political stability and changes, freedom of
expression, protection, and discrimination laws are all variables that impact how businesses
operate and operate.
• These elements have the potential to affect the overall outcome, therefore businesses must be
ready to cope with both local and worldwide political consequences.
Social Factors:
• Malaysians are known for their hospitality. When Malaysians welcome visitors, they are usually
highly attentive to their needs and provide tea or coffee as well as little snacks.
• We can simply place and incorporate our product within these social behaviors. Even though
Malaysia is a multi-racial country, there is a substantial population of Chinese people; they are
Malaysia's second biggest group after Malay people.
• Furthermore, because Malaysia's inflation rate is relatively low, the price of the goods is
obviously lower in Malaysia than in other adjacent nations.
SWOT Analysis:
Strength:
• Good Brand Image in the International Market: As a result, Malaysians will accept BISUN and
Beatles Tea as luxury teas.
• Strong Supply Chain Management: BISUN and Beatles Tea have outstanding supply chain
management. The distribution network is outstanding from sourcing to the final stage. It will
assist in always providing customers with the finest tea available.
Weakness:
• Low Brand Equity in Malaysia: In Malaysia, BISUN and Beatles Tea have low brand equity. BISUN
and Beatles Tea are latecomers to the Malaysian tea market. As a result, there is a lower
likelihood of individuals responding.
Opportunity:
• Few Local Competitors: There are only two native tea manufacturers in Malaysia, and the
remainder import tea like us, which presents a significant possibility for our firm.
• Positive Consumption Pattern: Malaysian consumers have a strong preference for tea (47
percent), second only to plain water (99 percent).
Threats:
• Approval of Domestic Trade Division: In order to conduct wholesale and retail sales in Malaysia,
we must first obtain clearance from the Domestic Trade Division office, which might pose a
significant risk to our firm.
• Taxation: Because market stability is unclear, the government can raise taxes. There will be a
risk of losing money.
