NOUNS

A nouns is a word that refers to a person, an animal, a thing or a place.


Example:

Look at the picture below. Read the words.

Doctor Tiger Shop Pencil

‘Doctor’ is a person. ‘Tiger’ is an animal. ‘Shop’ is a place. ‘Pencil’ is a thing.


These words are called nouns.
Nouns are naming words.
They name people, animals, places and things.

Read and learn.
