0 DICUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION:

5.1 Discussion

CNC operation setup is important to maintain and improve that machining quality that
done from using machining workpiece.

Advantages is to control the finish product. The reason is to ensure a consistent


product quality. Besides, efficiency and accuracy can be maintaining if follow the operation
setup for consistent product quality. It also for safety measure to ensure the workpiece
machine with the correct program. The software can be reprogramming and redesign if there
are any mistake on drawing or coding easily. The CNC machine is capable on machine more
complex and intricate operation.

5.2 Recommendation

Safety procedure is needed to ensure the safety of people that handle the CNC machine. This
is some of safety product when handling CNC machine such as:

1. Ensure the tools are sharp and free of cracks.


2. Do not wear jewelry or any loose clothing.
3. Do not wear glove when operating CNC machine.
4. Do not try to reach the machine while its running.

For better operation when machining using CNC machine there some recommendation such
as:

1. Make sure the CNC machine is not operating when load a tool magazine to prevent
accident happen.
2. Maintaining or replacing the machine to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and
consistent product quality.
3. Ensure the tools are in a good condition and sharp for safety reasons and finishing of
the product. If the tool is not sharp enough, the result of finish product is not smooth,
and the tool can break when machining.
