I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

A. Demonstrate the concept that art processes, elements, and principles still apply even
when new technologies are used.
B. Explains the elements and principles applied in digital art.
C. Applies concepts on the use of the software (commands, menu, etc.)
D. Utilizes art skills using new technologies (hardware and software) in digital painting.
E. Creates a digital painting

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Elements and principles applied in digital art.

Concept: Demonstrate understanding by applying the elements and principles applied in


digital art

A. Preparatory Activities

B. Motivation

The teacher will demonstrate and allow students to identify words in the
crossword puzzle. Following the presentation of the crossword puzzle, the teacher
will ask the students about the words they have seen or noticed in the crossword
puzzle.

Questions:

 What words did you identify from the crossword puzzle?


 Do you have any idea of what digital art is?

C. Developmental Activities

Presentation

The teacher will show some images that demonstrate the basic elements and principles
of art. After discussing the basic elements and principles of art, the teacher will show
examples of digital art. The teacher will then explain what digital art is and why it is
important to use artistic elements and principles when making or creating digital art.
Following the discussion, the teacher will ask some questions about the topic.

 What are the elements of arts?


 What are the principles of arts?
 What do you mean by digital art?
 Why do we need to incorporate the elements and principles of arts when
making or creating digital art?

Generalization

The teacher will ask the students what they understand about today's discussion and
explain their take-home notes or learnings for the day.
