Contoh teks

Hi, I’m Tony. Yes, I’ve lived in a foreign country, the USA. I lived in Amherst for a year. I enjoyed it
very much. I loved the town and the food, especially Antonia Pizza. It was the most delicious pizza
I’ve ever had. I’ve worked for a small company called The Trust. That’s why I was in the States.
That was two years ago. Then, I got another job as a waiter in Planet Hollywood in New
York. Have I stayed in an expensive hotel? No, never, only cheap apartments for me.

I was afraid, but I have flown using jumbo jets four or five times, but not first class. Oh, I love
cooking. Sometimes I cook for my girlfriend and my friends from Indonesia. We sometimes get
together once a month. As a waiter, I have met many famous people, artists, comedians, politician,
and other celebrities. They usually give me big tips. Sometimes their bills were only $50 but they’d
tip me $100. That is the beauty of working as a waiter here in New York.

If you treat your customers very well like, you know… greet the guest politely, show them to their
tables, take their orders and give your best smile, trust me they will give you a big tip! I did it and
it worked. I like seeing something different on the weekends. I’ve seen a Shakespeare play (Romeo
& Juliet) and a Rolling Stones concert. They were absolutely
fantastic! I miss New York. I hope I can go there again sometime.
