6. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:

During the internship, I learned various professional ethics that will help in building and
enhancing my career in the legal fraternity in the future. Not only I gained knowledge on the
topics I researched, but it also boosted and improved my legal research skills.

The one-month long internship gave me the idea of working of Insolvency and Bankruptcy
Code, 2016 and enhanced my case briefing skills. By reading the judgment of the cases allotted
every week, I was able to develop reading habits. It also helped me in understanding judgments
effectively and provided me with a practical solution for the application of laws.

The great thing about the internship was that we were not blindly doing our work and submitting
the final result, but we also got detailed feedback on the final draft submitted by us to our
supervisor, and this helped us to know where we were lacking.

The one thing that I think was the loss was we were not able to do the internship offline at out
university campus where it would have given us more of a real and practical experience, rather
than just theoretical.

Even so, we were it touch with our supervisor everyday through daily meetings and this also
gave me a chance to get connected with my co-interns. During the first week, we were given a
team task where we had to analyze a case with our team member and due to this activity, we got
to know each other and learned teamwork.

Overall, my internship experience has been great with Professor Rashmi Ma’am and my other
fellow co-interns. If given chance, I would again like to work with them.
