A.Reflections
“If students cannot learn the way teachers teach, maybe we should
change the way we teach so students can learn” and below are some
of the experiences that I have applied in my class. yourself and
achieve high efficiency

1.Startup Activity:

A fun warm-up activity will impact students' interest in learning. It


contributes to creating curiosity and attraction right from the
beginning of the lesson. Imagine, if you lose a student in the first 2
minutes, the remaining 58 minutes you only have to do one job to
pull the student back to you.

2. Transition operations

To maintain and improve student engagement, so that students do not


fall asleep and bored, teachers need to have transitions between
activities.

Transition activities are quite diverse, teachers can have students do a


short exercise, dance a dance to music or simply get up, stretch, go
outside, etc.

3. Write a quick summary


When you have just finished a study topic, you can ask students to
write a summary of what they have just learned or ask them to reflect
on what they have learned.

It is also a tool for teachers to check students' awareness levels and


give appropriate feedback before moving on to a new content of the
lesson. This activity also helps students focus more on the content of
the next lesson.

4. Questions

Teachers should form the habit of asking students questions to check


their cognitive levels, to draw students back to the lesson, and to
increase their attention. At the same time, teachers should also create
an open forum where students can ask questions to the teacher and
peers.

This will make the class more interesting, students will learn and
absorb knowledge more actively.

5. Combination of multiple teaching methods

Imagine a classroom where the teacher repeats fixed and available


actions, day in and day out: open textbook – ask questions – call
students – lecture – take notes… or a the teacher walks into the class
just talking, talking and talking… surely students will feel tired and
boring.

Mix teaching methods, give students a variety of interesting learning


experiences. Try to change teaching activities after 10-15 minutes and
avoid talking continuously for more than 10 minutes.

6. Learning through games


Learning to play, playing to learn, that's what we - teachers often
think about. The point is, let's put it into classroom practice. Make
class time a form of game, create competition, set tasks, goals,
engage students with rewards, badges, provide laughter and comfort.
Surely in such lessons, students will feel extremely interesting and
attractive.

7. Teamwork

Group work is an effective way for students to interact, discuss, share


and support each other in the learning process. The right group
activities will always make students feel engaged and interested in the
class.

8. Contact with real life

Students will find it interesting if the teacher can connect the content
of the lesson with real life problems. This also helps teachers
understand the knowledge more deeply.
