It is no longer a taboo if one of the sports that already existed in the 18th century by being played by
two different teams with the goal as a toll victory became very popular. Everyone seems to agree that
football is the most popular sport on earth. Yes, although there are several countries that do not
provide football as the most popular game, namely the United States (US) and Australia. Even so, the
two countries are still actively participating in world football events or what is often heard as the
FIFA world cup. And not only today, football was also a game or match that was very much enjoyed
by a handful of people around the world. The game is very popular, because the format or background
of the game is a game by players, which makes players feel they have an important role in the game.
Then, it's a simple game that only requires a leather ball and physical strength. And this game can be
played by all circles of society until it sounds worldwide. In addition, by prioritizing players as roles,
each player has the same opportunity and right to obtain the main goal, namely scoring goals. This
factor makes this game much in demand as a means to gather with friends and play together. For
some people, being a soccer player is a dream and even a dream. Therefore, this game is of course
tricky to get to all parts of the world. So the popularity of soccer games is not new at this time,
because these games are simple and cheap games so that their popularity is worldwide and of course
also due to the popularity of local and world football players and teams.
Cigarettes are products that have a high level of danger, especially on health. Therefore, as reported
by (data.com) cigarettes are not only dangerous for active smokers, but the health risks due to
exposure to smoke are also high for passive smokers. Reporting from (kompas.com), the Ministry of
Health on its official website states, passive smokers are people or individuals who do not smoke but
inhale cigarette smoke that comes from other people who smoke. This usually happens when both are
in the same room. Although only inhaling the smoke, health experts agree that passive smokers have
a greater risk than active smokers. At least out of 100% of the dangers of cigarette smoke, only about
25% of the dangers of cigarette smoke are felt by active smokers. The rest, felt by passive smokers.
Based on the survey results, data in 2013 from the Ministry of Health's Basic Health Research showed
that the number of passive smokers in Indonesia reached 96.9 million people. With 30.2 million
people being male and 66.7 million being female. This number is of course increasing along with the
massive consumption of cigarettes in Indonesia. Some examples of the dangers of exposure to second
hand smoke for passive smokers, namely In adults, the greatest risk of becoming passive smokers is
getting cancer. Not only that, other diseases can also appear, such as coronary heart disease, stroke,
and high blood pressure. In pregnant women, the dangers of exposure to cigarette smoke in pregnant
women are miscarriage, premature birth of babies, to the birth of babies with less weight. These risks
will be higher if pregnant women are continuously exposed to cigarette smoke. In children, the risk is
asthma, ear infections, respiratory infections, meningitis, allergies, to sudden infant death syndrome.
The risk will be even greater, if children often inhale cigarette smoke every day. Therefore, the
regulation on the prohibition of smoking in public places really needs to be implemented in various
areas, so that it can reduce the high risk of exposure to cigarette smoke in passive smokers.
Every morning I wake up at 05.00 WIB. I clean my bed and immediately take ablution to do the dawn
prayer. After that I take a shower and then have breakfast. At 07.30 WIB, I am getting ready to go to
college. Of course, before going to college, I pray first so that I can be given ease in facing today's
lessons. I go to college on foot because I live not far from my campus. My house is near campus. I
study at Jayabaya University, major in English and am now in my sixth semester. I am very happy to
be a student here, because the campus is very spacious and the location is cool. There are many shady
trees on every street within the campus. The lecturers and friends that I have are very friendly and
fun. So I really enjoy the lecture.
I am very happy in the speaking course, because my English speaking skills are getting honed and
getting better. I always practice it with my friends every time we discuss. My friends are very
enthusiastic in learning English, this also makes me more excited every day to come to campus. Not
only that, my lecturers there are also very supportive of their students who want to learn more.
Achievement has become something that every student is pursuing here. Because of that all students
are very happy to compete with each other.
However, when the lecture is over, I have to work part time in a cafe not too far from my campus and
home. Most of my friends come from rich families, so they don't have to look for part time jobs to
earn extra money like me. After my father die, I have to work to help my mother earn money. I am
very grateful to be able to pay for my tuition and daily expenses without bothering my mother. I work
from 15.00 WIB until midnight and sometimes it can be past midnight. And even then on weekends
because the cafe is very crowded with visitors. Sometimes I have to skip class once in a while,
because sometimes I have to go home at 16.00 from campus. But that doesn't discourage me from
working. That's all I do so that my mother is not burdened with all the costs of my life. I work as a
waiter and his work is not only making and delivering food. I have to clean the cafe inside and out,
open and close the cafe, and wash all the dirty dishes. When I arrive I have to make sure that the cafe
is clean and ready to receive customers. I also enjoy my current job, because my boss is less fussy if
our work is good.
At the end of every month, I always invite my mother to eat at the cafe where I work. Mother feels
happy to be able to refresh her mind which is tired every day having to work too. Mother don't know I
work at the cafe. If the mother finds out, she will be angry, because she does not want her child to
look tired after studying. I keep this a secret. I tell my mother that I can get a scholarship every month
from campus. Even though it is the money I work hard to work part time. I don't want mother to think
about that. I just want mother to be happy and always smile. Working while studying is not an
obstacle for me. It will make me stronger and never give up.
All humans had different life goals, to achieve these goals we must have a plan (planning). Here I
would tell you how I earned after graduating college. I wanted to work as a civil servant. And that's
where I would try to achieve my goals. Before graduating, I had studied about the materials to be
tested. I really dreamed of working as a civil servant. Even at that time I had not graduated, but I was
busy thinking about applying for CPNS. In my class, all of them have the same hope, which is to
become a civil servant. So there were some of them who deliberately created their own study groups.
That's very good to do considering we needed other friends who understood better or discuss difficult
material together. Everyone looked very excited and competing in discussing the matter.
Finally, after graduating from college we were unable to register for civil servants because our
diplomas had not yet been issued. And I also couldn't apply to be a teacher because I hadn't joined the
PPG program. Then I applied for many other jobs, but no one called me. This was life. We could not
predict our future just by planning for it. But at least we had to fight for it. I had asked friends about
job vacancies. Even if it was calculated, many of our graduates were still unemployed. If you said we
were very difficult to get a job. I also attended trainings to improve my abilities and talents. Until
almost a year I did not work and just stay at home alone. I could only do housework, helped my
parents cleaned the house.
Until I entered the 1 year anniversary I graduated from the University, not long after that I got an
incoming call from someone I did not know. I thought it was a colleague or the wrong person
connected. So I was impressed with rejecting the conversation in the call. It turned out to be a phone
call from an HR from the largest MNC in Indonesia. At first I didn't believe it, but because I also
really needed a job and income. I also called the number back and confirmed that I would continue
my application. I was asked to resend my complete application. After that I was contacted again to
inform the schedule of the interview with HR. When I attended an online interview, I felt very
awkward and impatient. I thought I did my best. And I was contacted again to schedule an interview
with the user. The time given was also not far from the first interview schedule. During user
interviews, I enjoyed the interview process more because the interviewers seemed very friendly and
seemed the same age. After that I got the news when I had to do a medical check up. I was very
happy at that time, but at the end of the message it was written that it did not guarantee that I had been
accepted for a job. So it could still be thwarted in the process. After I did a medical check up, I was
asked to wait for the results. I just got the news 5 days after the medical check up. I was very happy to
hear that I had been accepted for a job at the company. I was also scheduled to receive an offer letter
and sign a work contract.
On my first day at work, I met a lot of people gathered in one room. I thought they were having a big
meeting. Unexpectedly at that time they were preparing to welcome new employees. I initially
thought why only I was the new kid. It turned out that the other new children had gathered to sit in
front. I blushed too. Because I arrived early to the office, but it seemed like I was late. The welcoming
ceremony went very well. I felt I had found the right job after 1 year of unemployment.
Everyone has different or the same things to like. Creating a self-image through the description of
things you like, is something that is natural. Forty-five percent of intelligent beings on earth would
choose the beach as a favourite place. It is not strange if they choose the beach, because the beach has
a million charms and pure natural beauty like the mountains. The beach is a pleasant place to spend a
vacation, refreshing the mind of the hectic work. Black or white sand with clear water stretches out as
far as the eye can see. The rolling waves come and go, welcoming the tourists as if inviting them to
play and swim. The scorching sun is defeated by the cool sea water. The cold waves crashing against
the body and the salty sea water when it touches the lips add to the fun while playing on the beach.
In Indonesia, there are many beach tourism located in various regions of the archipelago. One of the
regions of the archipelago with beautiful beaches, namely the Karimunjawa Islands which are
currently popular among tourists. In addition to offering white sandy beaches, the islands in the
Jepara Regency area also provide an amazing underwater panorama, supported by very clear sea
water making various types of coral reefs in these waters very suitable as a spot for divers. Not only
that, the view of the seaweed that is so green is no less hypnotizing for the visitors who come.
Visitors are also given the opportunity to harvest seaweed directly with the fishermen. It has been a
good added value for a long time that can provide more value to visitors and managers.
Besides that, the specialty of the Karimun Jawa islands which is very different from other tours is that
divers can also swim with sharks and green turtles that are around these waters. And also, the
underwater ecosystem in these waters is still maintained. In addition to the Karimun Islands, there is
also Derawan Island which is the outermost island group in the southern region of Kalimantan,
besides that the Derawan Islands are also a perfect tropical paradise. This is the nesting place for rare
green turtles, as well as hawksbill turtles. This is where we can find more than 460 types of coral
reefs. And it is no longer an illusion that the Derawan Islands occupy the second position after the
Raja Ampat Islands. Although the name is not as popular as the island of Bali, Derawan Island has
been visited by many foreign tourists who want to find peace. Actually, the beauty of the panorama in
the archipelago is so complete, but we still don't know for sure, various tourist destinations that have
more value than tourist destinations abroad. Most of us are tempted by the ease of accessing tourism
abroad, even though at a very large cost, but do not want to bother accessing tourist destinations in
their own country even at relatively low costs. Many reasons say that access is still difficult,
especially for areas far from urban areas.
