Walk-in-Interview for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

DRDO Young Sclentist Laboratory - Cognitive technology Is constituted of young scientists


who work towards research and development of cognitive radio, cognitive radar and cognitive
surveillance fields. The Lab has association with eminent institutes such as, IIT, Central & State
Universities and other leading academic institutions.

Selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-Interview to be held at DYSL-CT, Chennai.

* Number of Vacancies may change as per organizational requirements.

1. UPPER AGE LIMIT: 28 years as on the date of interview. Age and Educational qualification will
be calculated / determined as on date of interview. Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3
years for OBC candidates and for another category as per Central Govt.

2. STIPEND: Rs.31000/- per month + HRA as applicable.


No other allowances will be paid during the entire period.

3. Candidates working in Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should apply through


proper channel. They are required to submit a signed declaration (Annexure ‘Il’) to the extent that
they have informed their Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) about their application for the fellowship
in DRDO and required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their CCA as per Annexure ‘III’
at the time of interview.
PS

. The offer of fellowship is PURELY OF TEMPORARY in nature for a limited period as per rules in
vogue and DOES NOT CONFER ANY RIGHT FOR ABSORPTION IN DRDO.
. Those who were already awarded JRF position in any of the DRDO
Laboratories/Centers/Establishments earlier, are not eligible to apply.

. Candidate need to attach the proof of CGPA to percentage conversion formula from the
University/Institution along with the application form.

. The Research Fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with a prior notice of
one month. Fellows may resign with a prior notice of one month.

. DYSL - CT, Chennai reserves the right to amend, modify or cancel this advertisement. The above
notified fellowships are likely to be increased or decreased or cancelled depending upon the
prevailing requirement restrictions, if any, as per the policy of Government of India.

It may please be noted that offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for
absorption in DRDO.

PROCEDURE FOR ATTENDING INTERVIEW: While appearing for interview, the candidates are
required to submit complete Bio-Data with recent passport size photograph affixed on top right corner
of the first page and one set of self-attested copies of all Degrees/Academic qualification
certificates/Mark Sheet/Experience Certificate/ID Proof/Address Proof etc. Candidates working in
Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should produce a NOC issued by the
present employer.

Late Attendees will not be allowed at any cost. Written Test may be conducted for JRF's from
1100 hrs. - 1200 hrs. (Depending on the number of candidates appearing on the date of interview)
and only qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day. If required, interview may continue
on the next day. Candidates are requested to prepare accordingly.

e No TA/DAwill be paid for attending interview or for joining, if selected.


e Decision of Director DYSL - CT Chennai will be final in case of any discrepancy.
