A. Tujuan

-Siswa menyusun teks deskripsi sederhana terkait hardware, software dan aplikasi pada
komputer.

B. Langkah Kerja

1.Siswa disajikan teks descriptive tentang benda, dan memahami makna tersurat dan
tersirat yang ada dalam teks tersebut.

2.Siswa mengamati kalimat yang digunakan dalam mendeskripsikan tentang benda yang
terdapat dalam text yang diberikan oleh guru.

3.Siswa mengikuti cara medeskripsikan benda dengan kalimat-kalimat yang sesuai

dengan bimbingan guru.

4.Siswa mampu mengenali jenis-jenis hardware, software dan aplikasi pada komputer.

5.Siswa mengumpulkan data hasil observasi terhadap hardware, software dan aplikasi
pada komputer.
 6.Siswa menyusun teks deskripsi sederhana terkait hardware, software dan aplikasi pada
komputer.

1.Apa saja jenis-jenis hardware, software dan aplikasi pada komputer. (ditulis dalam bahasa
Inggris beserta artinya)

Jawaban :

1.Hardware

Hardware Understanding hardware in general, namely a set phisycal components that are in
a computer can funcion properly. Or in other words, hardware can also mean a physical
computer device that can be touched, the contens are relate to the computer working
system.

hardware is divided into 3 types, including :

1.Hardware input

Hardware input is a device that can be used to enter data intu a computer, the that has
been entered is processed in a process.

2.Proses device

Process device is a device that processes and processes data on a computer.

3.Hardware output

namely hardware on a computer that is used to print and display information from the
input data that comes from hardware input that has passed the process of the hardware
process.

2.Software

Software is a computer program that is a bridge between users and hardware. It can also be
defined as an application that is composed of a set of programming language codes.
3.Types of software

1.Operating system

In english it is called the operating system and is often abbreviated as OS. Its
existence in a computer is very important because without on operating system,
users will not be able to run and utilize hardware and software,except booting. It
is a complex software that has many functions including managing all hardware
that is integrated with the CPU, instrucing the processor to work on user
requests, managing all processes thst occur on the CPU and becoming a platform
to run application software.

2.Word processing software

Word processing sofy ware as the name implies, the types of software
incorporated into this group are used for writing business. The most popular
example of software for this type is microsoft word. Of course this application is
not astrange name because it is often used. This application was released by
microsoft corparation which is commonly bundled with Excel, PowerPoint and so
on.

3.Number processing software

This is often used to do and do calculations with the numbers in it. This software
can find answers to all the sum,division,multiplication and subraction formulas
needed by the user. Same with word processing software, there are many
examples of software for processing numbers. The most popular is exel.

4.Antivirus software

This type of software used on computer network is often identified by the name
virus protection software. This application’s job is to detected and also remove
viruses that enter the computer system. This software determines whether the
system has a virus or not.

4.Types of aplication on the computer

- Microsoft Word

This application program has function for writig or typing assignments,

papers and so on.

- Microsoft Exel

This application program has function to creat data tables or spreadsheets.

- Microsoft Power Point

 This application program has function to create slide shows for presentations
or meetings and also for web pages.

-Notepad

This application program has a function as a place to store notes.

-Mozilla Firefox and Google Crome

this application program is a web browser, wich function to explore the

internet.

- Windows Movie Maker

This application program has function for creating or editing videos.

-Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is a graphic program that can be used to edit images.

- Paint

This program can also be used to edit images or even serve as a canvas or a
place to paint

-Windows Media Player

This program serves to play videos and can also play music.

-Smadav and AVG Antivirus

This program serves to prevent the entry of viruses into the computer and
also can to remove viruses from computers.

- Remove Desktop Connection

This application program works to connect with computers located anywhere

and can access files.

- Sound Record

This program has function for recoding sound

- Connect To a Projector

This program to connect your komputer to the projector hardware via cable.

-Yahoo Massenger

The program has function to do chat and video calls for free.
