2. PLANNING AND DESIGNING LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS AND EXPERIENCES. Teachers plan and design

Through an online teaching video, I was able to teach math through an online video which accommodates visual and auditory
learners. This method uses technology to allow students to go at their own pace and accommodates more learning styles. (online

3. TEACHING, LEARNING, AND THE CURRICULUM. Teachers implement curriculum plans that include methods
and strategies for applying technology to maximize student learning. Teachers:

Throughout my presentation I used QR codes to give the students a more interactive learning experience where the students could learn
both the content and student technology standards that allow them to use technology safely. (Technology presentation)

Through using Blendspace I allowed my students to access a variety of online lessons to learn a concept. The Blendspace included
videos, readings and games which reached auditory, visual, tactile and kinesthetic learners. (Blendspace)

Lesson plans are easy but you need to include ISTE or standards which specifically address technology, highlight lessons with 21st
century skills, any technology app like educreations can be used, pictures of students using technology and student artifacts from

4. ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION. Teachers apply technology to facilitate a variety of effective assessment and
evaluation strategies. Teachers:
• apply technology in assessing student learning of subject matter using a variety of assessment techniques.
Through the use of a Google Form, I was able to use a quiz format of multiple choice and short answer questions to test the students’
knowledge on holidays. This allowed me to immediately get responses back and graded.(online quiz)

5. PRODUCTIVITY AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE. Teachers use technology to enhance their productivity and
professional practice. Teachers:
• use technology resources to engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
• continually evaluate and reflect on professional practice to make informed decisions regarding the use of technology in support of
student learning.
I was able to reflect on clinical experiences at Endhaven Elementary school through creating 10 blog posts about the technology

• use technology to communicate and collaborate with peers, parents, and the larger community in order to nurture student learning.
Through creating an online podcast, I was able to reach parents and inform them on what is happening in our school and

6. SOCIAL, ETHICAL, LEGAL, AND HUMAN ISSUES. Teachers understand the social, ethical, legal, and human
issues surrounding the use of technology in PK-12 schools and apply those principles in practice. Teachers

Through the safe use of technology WebQuest, the students are taught about cyber bullying and inappropriate content, and how to
prevent it. This teaches students how they should safely use technology and what to do if they encounter it.(safe technology use
