Pros & Cons of Country Life for Teenagers

Living in the countryside is an option that many families are lately considering because
they think that this new life can be better in order to escape from their overwhelming
urban life. But is this idea clearly the best to us and our families?
Let's make a short essay in which we will compare its advantages and disadvantages.

So, in one hand, it is known that living surrounded by nature is beneficial for our health
and our child’s raisement. In addition, it is so peaceful, and it is safer for the kids
because they can leave alone so we don't have to worry.
On the other hand, you can't go anywhere without taking the car or something that gets
you to the city where there are shops, the school, and everything. Teenagers need to
interact with others of their age, and this is not very comfortable for them to meet their
friends. 
To sum up, I would say that on a day-to-day basis it is not the best idea because
teenagers would be a little bit isolated and I think it is not very practical to live there
every day, nevertheless I believe it is a fantastic idea for holidays. 

INVITING TO HAVE LUNCH DIALOGUE

Hi Peter, how is it going?

Hey!! It is going fine; I have just finished my grade and now I’m searching information about
my new project.

Cool, I was wondering if you might want to have lunch with me today?

Oh sorry but I don’t feel like going…

Why? Come on!! We don’t see each other for a year at least, I don’t know what’s going on in
your personal life buddy… It would be fun.

I don’t know… I need to save money for my project, you know things get tough when you are
far away from home and your parents are a little bit stingy…

But what is your project about? If you can tell…

It is about using bacteria to create a kind of cement thing that fills gaps in architectural
structures avoiding them to get deteriorated.

That sounds awesome!! And the best thing is that I can help you!! You don´t know, but I have
started Biotechnology degree and I have acquired a lot of knowledge about bacteria!

Great!! Okay hahaha you have convinced me man, let´s find a restaurant!
 SANTA´S LETTER

Dear Santa, my name is Isabel Lasierra I’m 22 years old and I live in Zaragoza. To describe
myself a little bit I can tell that I’m a hard-working person, I study and work Monday to Friday
only having Saturday and Sunday off, so I cannot find too much time on a day-to-day basis in
which I can relax and stay alone.

This Christmas my personal aim is to spend more time with myself and there is something I
would love to do during this time on my own, it is something I have ever wanted but I refused
it because I wasn’t prepared to sweep aside my responsibilities even when I had days off.
Nowadays, my mentality has change! And the best way to welcome this personal progress is
asking you to bring me an aquarelle set. I’m with the bells on to have one of these lately
because I believe that painting can help me to express myself. Nevertheless, if you can’t give
me this present then I would suggest about bringing me another kind of paints, the ones you
think are better.

2020 ESSAY

My 2020 year was not a time I would like to truly remember. It began nicely, but then it turned
into the worst year of my life. I had many new year purposes and all of them were truncated...
First of all, my aim in achieving a nice fit body by exercising a lot in the gymnasium. Then, my
idea of starting a new project involving young enterprising people who would like to help me
in the development of a new non-ferrous alloy for covering rockets surface, thinner and lighter
than the ones we use now.

After the pandemic boom, I think that the only way to fix all the damage caused by 2020 is to
stay aware of this new era by taking good hygienic care and come back to our previous life.

I hope that 2022 would bring us the peace and freedom we were stolen.

J K ROWLING ESSAY

J K Rowling is the famous novelist woman that wrote Harry Potter books.
Her beginnings were very difficult because she used to have a tough life.

In that moment, she was going through a bad economic period in which she used to spend the
nights writing in pubs, however I do not think that she had any difficulties to start publishing
because of she is a woman... we all deserve to be treated equally.

Her main saga is about Potter, a kid that realises that he is the son of two sorcerers, from
whom he has inherited magical powers. Then, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
he will learn everything necessary to be a wizard.

I would like to point that she is in fact a very versatile writer, because further than Harry Potter
books she has written some others that are totally different such as The Crimes of Grindelwald
or many Christmas Tales for children.
I would describe her as an example for all women, showing that it is in our imagination where
our true power resides, which makes us unique.
 MINORITY LANGUAGES

I truly believe that schools of our community should promote it because it is part of our
culture. The main idea I have to drive interest up it's by doing a kind of quiz to learn Aragonese
words so the kids would find out that Aragonese is very funny and useful.

Some words I like very much are esbarizaculos that means slide, the word escobar that is the
same as sweep, and my favourite, orache, which means bad windy weather just in one word!

All in all, minority languages are as important as commonly used ones because they often have
words to describe things, feelings, situations... that big languages do not have, isn't it
surprisingly amazing?

CHILD´S PREFERENCES

When I was a child, I have some different preferences in terms of food and leisure, I liked
sweets a lot and I found educational activities and sports very funny.

As far as I can remember, I was not able to eat sweets every day because my mum told me
that they were hazardous for my teeth health, so I used to obey her and keep them just to
special occasions.

In addition, my free time was always orientated by my parents to do some fun but also
educational activity or useful sport in order to avoid wasting my time.

Nowadays, I have grown up and my parents do not make decisions for me, so I eat sweets if I
feel like doing it (I still love them) and I play tennis which is my favourite sport. I can say that I
organize my life and free time as I prefer.

FAR AWAY JOBS

It is well known in our society that many jobs require people to move far away from
their houses, and if you are considering the option of getting one of them it is better to
you to be aware of all advantages that can be offered as well as its cons.
On the one hand, you will be able to enjoy an unusual life. It would be like if you were
on vacation but getting money by working in a fantastic exotic place, so it would be
difficult to you to get bored of your job.
In addition, if you go for it, you will learn more about a particular culture, origin,
behavior, language, or other factors about people in that particular area.
On the other hand, staying far from home during long periods of time could be not
easy to handle especially if you have a family to take care of.
So, in my opinion it would be a good idea to choose this life if you are highly
independent and you truly think you´d be okay with the big disadvantage mentioned
before.
 DIALOGUE BEETWEN MUM AND SON

-B: Hey! mum, good move! You´ve got it!!

-M: I know! I'm the best! What did you say this button was for?
-B: I'm not sure what it´s for, do not touch it!
-M: Oops!
-B: Noooo!! Where am I? Mom? What's this?
-M: Oh Jesus Christ!! You are in the game!!
-B: Okay I have to get out of here. Mom! Manage to beat the game!! Play me in the
game as a character!
-M: Oh no! Here comes the monster what do we have to do??
-B: Okay this is The Big Notebook Monster, I give up, I'm done... I will die here.
-M: What?! NO!! Okay, Ben, listen to me! For the first time in your life, you’re going
to do the homework, do it! Now!
-B: But mom, are you sure? This monster has nothing to do with homework! It won't
work!
-M: Do it!
-B: Okay, I'm going to end this right now!!
(A few minutes later, after writing homework in the notebook)
-B: So, what? Nothing is happening!! It does not work at all!! I'm still trapped here!
(Mom presses the button she had already pressed before. Benjamin and the big
notebook show up in the living room)
-M: See!! That is how I get you to do your homework.
-B: (Mental note: never let your mom play video games with you!).
 Present Education System in Spain

Present Education system has been introduced to us as the best one of all the time in terms of
preparing students to face the real world, but is it that good as it is said?

According to the media, Norwegian education system has been reported to be one of the best
systems in the world, better than the one we have here in Spain. It is mainly based on
teamwork and useful daily-home stuff learning, in addition to be much more focused in
problem resolution than others are, so Norwegians could be the most prepared ones to face
the real world.

The way I see it is similar, I mean I think that our education system here in Spain is not bad at
all, but we need to improve it if we really want to get young people well prepared. Students
are not taught to understand the bills, to write their income statement or so on.

So, the conclusion, for me, is that we are on the right track, nevertheless, we have much work
to do and much more to learn from our northern European neighbors.

DEMON´S INFLUENCE

After this fight between the demon and the angel, the girl, who has been listening to the whole
conversation, became a little bit curious about the club thing so she could not stop herself and
she ended up sneaking around the club with a friend of hers.

Suddenly, she ran into trouble when her friend got drunk and the police entered the club they
were. Then, the demon felt bad because he knew it was his fault, so he decided to stick around
and watch the situation.

Finally, while the cops were approaching the demon started to build her up to take control, so
she was ready to get her friend and herself out of that place and never come back!
It turned out that demon was not that bad, so think that probably the angel is not so good
either.

PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL DESCRIPTION

This description is about Amna al Haddad. She is 25 years old, and she is from Damask, Syria.
Amna is a Physical Education teacher who is notably known because of her labor fighting for
students’ rights here in Syria. She´s got tough face features and exudes an integrity and justice
aura, it can be said that students see her as a powerful strong woman.

She has written many texts talking about the fact that too many children and adolescents in
Syria have only seen the brutal reality of war, forced displacement, and the hardship of living
in areas affected by armed conflict in their short lives. She also tells that for them, education is
a beacon of hope, it´s an opportunity to thrive and become positive changemakers to rebuild
their communities and ensure a more peaceful and prosperous future for all.

She can also be defined as a very emotional person who is totally involved in human rights
struggle, especially those concerning children. The truth is that she is never giving up because
every breakthrough she makes makes her happy, so she feels that she is one step closer to
bring quality education.
 DOG´S STORY AT CANINE UNIVERSITY

Pip is very happy to be at university but at the beginning she was constantly in trouble.

First of all, when she starts training with the teacher she ought to walk through an obstacle
and lead her trainer through it as if the trainer was a blind person. Unfortunately, she did not
stop before and the trainer stumbled and fell down.

Secondly, Pip couldn´t barely see over the desk so she could not take part in class. In
addition, when eating, she did not reach the button to stop kibble overflowing. Pip remained
very sad this whole time, so she decided to have a look at memorabilia wall.

Then, she felt relieved because she saw another little dog there, so suddenly she realised
that she could do it as well. Since that moment, she began to do everything right.
However, things get time to improve, we aren´t born taught by the way, so it turned out that
when the judge was looking, she failed her prove and the trainer fell again.

UFO sighting

There are concrete instances where UFOs have been reported as landing on the Earth. After
its departure, holes in the ground, or depressions in sand or disturbed vegetation pattern
have been described. Although there are some residues which were left behind, but they
are not backed up by any meaningful laboratory analyses.

Professor Pierre is an example of a person reporting these sightings. After many years
researching about aliens, he has discovered an UFO landing near a farm outside the village.
He told his wife, but she did not trust him, so he went to the police, but they did not believe
his words because he did not show any evidence of what he had seen.

Recent discoveries on potential fossils from Mars and the presence of certain molecules
on the moons of Jupiter do however seem to point at the existence of life in the rest of the
universe, backing up Pierre´s testimony.

Short about winters in Jaca

I'm from Jaca, a city in the Pyrenees, so I have passed through many snowy winters. The most
memorable thing I can remember is when my parents drove me to an inauguration of a hotel
in which there were people carving ice figures for the Christmas nativity scene.

Nowadays, we also have a tradition that is about skiing in the city streets and in the large fields
of the greatest old fortress here which is called ''Ciudadela de Jaca' when it has been snowing a
lot. Thinking about snow makes me feel very happy because of all these good moments it has
given to me.
