How to Calculate Scores through SSC CGL Answer

Key?
To calculate the correct score that candidates can score in the exam, they need to
keep the marking scheme in mind. SSC CGL tier-I marking scheme is such that two
marks are awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 marks are deducted for each
incorrect answer. This means that at the time of tallying response sheet with the
answer key, candidates have to give themselves +2 for each correct answer, -0.5 for
each incorrect answer and 0 for each attempted question. Maximum marks that
candidates can score in the exam are 200.
It may be noted that bonus marks obtained by candidates will be additional.
Therefore, candidates can use the formula given below to calculate the correct score
that they can score in the tier-I exam:
(Number of correct answers x 2) + (Number of bonus questions x 2) - (Number of
incorrect answers x 0.5) = Marks scored in SSC CGL tier-I 2020
