Once the result for each stage/tier of the exam is announced, the Staff Selection
Commission releases the final SSC CGL result. It may be noted that SSC CGL tier-
IV exam is just qualifying in nature. This means that marks secured by candidates in
the computer proficiency/skill test are not considered at the time of preparation of
final SSC CGL result.
Candidates whose names/roll numbers appear in the final SSC CGL merit list/result
are then allotted their respective posts as per the available vacancies.

Candidates should reach the exam centre on time for the verification process
Any kind of electronic items such as digital watch and calculator are prohibited inside the
examination centre
Textbooks, pens, pencils and other kind of stationaries are also not allowed inside the
exam centre

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill application form for SSC
CGL 2019 exam:
Step 1: Fill SSC CGL Registration Form
To start with, candidates need to fill SSC CGL registration form 2019 that will be
made available on the official website of SSC. Some of the details that candidates
need to fill in the registration form include name, father’s name, mother’s name,
gender, date of birth, category, permanent address, etc. Once all details are filled,
candidates can click on the Submit button to submit the form.
On submission of the form, a registration ID and password will be generated.
Candidates need to note down the ID and password, which would be required to
apply for the SSC CGL 2019 exam as well as any other recruitment exam of the
commission.

Step 2: Upload Scanned Photo & Signature
In the next step, candidates need to upload their latest colour photograph and
signature as per the below-mentioned specifications:
Photo size 20 KB – 50 KB
Next, candidates can login to their accounts using their registration ID and password
and fill the remaining details such as educational qualification, communication
address, etc.
Step 4: Pay SSC CGL Application Fee 2019
Once the form is duly filled, candidates need to pay SSC CGL 2019 application fee
through SBI Challan/ BHIM UPI/ Net Banking or by using Visa/ Mastercard/ Maestro
credit/ RuPay debit card.

The Staff Selection Commission releases cutoffs for Combined Graduate Level
exam every year on its official website. SSC CGL cutoff is the minimum score which
must be secured by candidates in the exam in order to qualify it and get included in
the merit list. With the help of CGL cutoffs, SSC shortlists candidates for the next

are some quick tips to prepare for different subjects of the exam:
English
One of the best ways to prepare for English section of the exam is to read a good
English newspaper and noting down as well memorizing the meaning of difficult
words. This immensely helps in improving vocabulary. Other than reading

General Awareness
General awareness is one of the most important sections/ subjects of SSC CGL
exam. Scoring high marks is relatively difficult in this subject no matter how much
time a candidate devotes to it. However, one of the best ways that can keep

SSC CGL 2019 exam centre details have been released by the Staff Selection
Commission. Candidates need to select three preferences for exam cities (in order
of priority) in the same region at the time of filling SSC CGL application form. The
official notification reads, “No request for change of centre will be considered later
under any circumstances. Hence, the candidates should select the centres, carefully
and indicate the same correctly in their applications.”
