FIRST WEEK.

Immersion work is very important because this is

part of the curriculum that train and orient student
about what their career someday. My first week
being an immersant student. I learned a lot of
things on this week. I experienced also to handle a
gun and manipulate a gun, they also show us how is
the proper way to handle a gun. On the first day the
Chief of police RAMON MACARUBBO JR. oriented us
of the attitude and character of being a
policeman/women. And he also encourage us to
take the criminology course. And the following days
we’ve learned about the Republic Act #9262 which
means Anti Violence Against Women and their
Children Act 2004. And I learned a lot about the
Miranda warning which is given by the police to
criminal suspects in police custody advising them of
their right to silence that is, their right to refuse to
answer questions or provide information to law
enforcement or the other officials. And other police
officer lectured us about laws and their work as a
policeman/women. that’s the things I’ve learned in
the first week of my immersion work.

On this week we continued to lectured like what we

do in the first week. And the following days we help
and assist some of the police officers to arranged
the chairs in the sport center. And the other days
we distribute some snacks and relief goods to all
resident that attend in that meeting. And we also
prepare a scenario that we are going to present to
ma’am PO3 REAMIE TIMOSA he gave us 1 day to
prepare and practice our scenario. The next day at
the afternoon we performed our scenario which is
buy bus arrest. This is a by groups performance and
after the performance she added more details into
the scenario that we performed. The following days
some police officer came to us and shared his
experience when they are trainee as a police he told
us that is not easy to become a police. but if you
really want to become a police study hard and
dream big and trust God he is the best of all. The
following days sir SPO4 JOSE QUIBUYEN JR. told us
that we are come along with them to assist and
help them to remove the destroyed roof in magapit
high school. After that some teachers invite us to
partake they serve some foods as thanks giving for
helping them to removed the destroyed roof of
their gymnasium. I know being a police is not an
easy job there as so many task that you need to do
invest more time to finish it. I will study hard and
persue my dream to become a police someday.
