1. What was Suresh Jayakar’s project/idea?

 The speaker project is the Produce truck in which his truck instead of selling tacos or
sandwiches, it sells fresh foods like fruits and vegetables. This is to lift up the
convenience of people who live in the area where grocery stores are far away. The
speaker experience having an inconvenience wherein they have to walk or to take
bus truck to elevate the issue to their society.

2. Do you think Jayakar’s idea is feasible here in the Philippines? Specially, in provinces?
Why?
 I believe his project the Produce Truck is feasible in the Philippines. In fact, during
this pandemic we already experience having this kind of vehicle that travel from
different places to sell goods for families without needing to go outside with a mass
number of people such as the grocery or markets. In this time of pandemic, it is very
helpful to have this to prevent the Covid-19 to spread with a vast amount of people.
This is a proof that Filipinos take best choice in this kind of situation and execute it
for the betterment of the citizens. We are able to implement it and think outside the
box.

3. With Suresh Jayakar’s idea, how did design thinking solve life’s problems?
 With design thinking we find the best choice in the situation and execute it. With
this kind of thinking we just not to think about the best solution to the problems but
also, we execute it to make an improvement in our lives. Looking at the bigger
picture to alleviate the inconvenience or issue and therefore implement the best
suited solution. Design thinking solve problems by employing empathy, ideation,
prototyping, and experimentation to solve real-world issues.
