My name's Emma and I'm fourteen years old. I'm from Washington in the USA.I read your email on the
Friends' Club website and I'm writing to you because I'm interested in finding a pen friend from Russia.

I live in Washington DC,on the Potomac river. Washington is the capital of the USA. My favourite place in
the city is the White House. The American president lives and works there. Last week we were on a school trip
there and I enjoyed walking in the park near the White House and the Capitol. There's a statue of George

I go to Rose Hill Junior High and I like it a lot. There's a very good library in my school. Pupils can do a lot

I want to write about my favourite rucksack. I bought it when I was on holiday in Italy three years ago. It

was the most beautiful rucksack in the shop and I wanted to have it.
