Structure and Written Expression

Ë Consist of 40 questions (some tests may be longer).


Ë Have 25 minutes to complete the 40 questions

There are 2 parts in the Structure and Written Expression section:

1. Structure ( questions 1-15 ) : Consists of 15 sentences in which part of the sentence is left
blank. Each sentence is followed by four answer choices. You must choose the answer that
completes the sentence in a grammatically correct way.

2. Written Expression ( questions 16-40 ): Consists of 25 sentences in which four words or


groups of words have been underlined. You must choose the underlined word group of
words that is not correct.
